Our sheds are fortified with advanced security features. Externally, they utilize galvanised T-hinges with tamper-proof screws. Internally, a robust long-throw bolt lock with hardened steel and four keys secures the door. Double-door models have 100mm galvanised drop bolts for additional safety.
The sheds are covered with triple-layered timber cladding, shielded by a roof overhang to deter forced entry. Inside, a 32mm galvanised steel SecureBar allows for secure bike storage using locks or chains.

Log Storage
Adding a Log Store to your Wheelie Bin Shed is ideal for keeping your logs & firewood out of the rain & ready for use when you want to use them. They’re built facing the same direction as the wheelie bin doors and feature treated slats allowing for optimal airflow. Choose either the 900mm or 1400mm option.
Parcel Slot
Adding a Parcel Slot to your wooden wheelie bin storage will provide a simple and secure location for storing your home deliveries when you’re away. They include a long ramp for dropping off parcels, which cannot be reached over, and a small lockable door under the ramp for retrieving parcels.
Scottish Larch
Fixed with a ‘shadow gap’ profile. Our signature cladding, with natural durability, aesthetics, affordability and sustainability.
Pine Slats
Fixed with 6mm gaps. The effect is architecturally striking, creating a strong light and shade contrast, and it fits seamlessly onto your Wheelie Bin Shed, offering a contemporary garden design.
Cedar Slats

Machined profile, this cladding offers a more precise look to your Wheelie Bin Shed. This is the option if you intend to paint your cladding, or it can be left to weather to a silver grey.

This bin shed cladding has a contemporary, premium look that enhances any garden. Over time, western red cedar will weather to a beautiful silver-grey colour.

What Size Are Our Wheelie Bin Sheds?
Our wheelie bin sheds measure 1.35m in height, 0.9m in depth, with the width varying depending on how many bins you wish to store.

- 6 bins – 3.9m
Roof overhangs should also be accounted for; these are 40mm on each side and front, plus 80mm of gutter on the rear.
Be sure to double-check the size of your space before ordering to ensure the shed fits.

How Durable Are Our Wheelie Bin Storage Sheds?
Our wooden wheelie bin storage sheds are built to last, with roofs strong enough to walk on! The cladding is made of solid 20mm timber, which develops a beautifully subtle silvery-grey colour as it ages.
What Add-Ons Are Available With Our Wheelie Bin Storage Shed?
Our wooden wheelie bin storage sheds are available with two unique add-ons: log storage and parcel storage.
- Log Store: Ideal for storing logs & firewood in a dry place, away from the rain. They feature treated which allow for optimal airflow and circulation. Unlike some of our other storage solutions, the log store on the wheelie bin shed faces outwards instead of side-facing.
- Parcel Drop Shed: Also available as a standalone unit, these provide a convenient place for storing home deliveries when you’re not at home. Like a post box, these feature a ramp where parcels can be dropped over but not reached over, and have a lockable door underneath to retrieve the parcels when you return home.
How Much Space Is in Our Wheelie Bin Sheds?
We’ve designed our wheelie bin sheds to have extra space above the bins, letting you easily drop rubbish into the bins without needing to take the bin out. You can typically fit 2 – 6 wheelie bins in each shed, depending on your requirements.
How Does the Visualiser Tool Work?
To visualise your wheelie bin shed, “Design your wheelie bin shed now” at the top of the page. This will open up our easy-to-use configuration tool where you can customise your dream Wheelie Bin Shed, selecting the total number of bins you need to store, depth and cladding options.
To make sure your shed fits your required space, simply click on the AR (augmented reality) tool, scan the QR code using your phone’s camera, follow the prompts, and it’ll appear right in front of your eyes.
If you need a second opinion, whether your partner, family member or friend, simply click the share button and send a version of the final configuration to whoever you wish to see it.
Can I Assemble the Shed Myself?
Our wheelie bin sheds are relatively easy to install if you have some DIY experience. The shed comes with a full set of clear and simple self-assembly instructions.
If you would like a PDF version of the instructions sent to you before deciding whether to self-assemble, please let us know.
If you think you will struggle with self-assembly, we recommend selecting our installation service. This service is available for certain locations across the south east and can be selected at checkout if applicable.
What Is the Lead Time on Ordering Our Wheelie Bin Sheds?
The current lead times are 8-10 weeks across our product range; this is because we build them ourselves in our workshop. Once you order, we’ll send a confirmation with an estimated delivery date, and/or installation slot.
Please note that the lead time varies depending on the time of year; during periods of higher demand, it can extend to 12 weeks.
Do Your Wheelie Bin Sheds Come With a Guarantee?
If you have an issue with your wheelie bin shed, please email us photos, and we’ll arrange a suitable date to fix it.
If your product is Self-Assembled, the issue may be due to incorrect installation. In these cases, we will do our utmost to help you fix the issue by email or telephone.

Can I Make a Bespoke Order?
If you require non-standard or bespoke sizes or finishes, use our bespoke enquiry form or email us at info@brightonbikesheds.co.uk with an image or two of the space. Please also include a description of your storage needs, dimensions (WxDxH), and your postcode. If you send a photo or a quick sketch of the layout, that really helps.
We’ll reply with a free detailed quotation. If you’re happy to proceed, just reply to confirm your order, and we’ll send you an invoice for the agreed cost.
Once we have received your payment, you will receive an installation date. Your shed will be built in our workshop and delivered and installed typically within 8 weeks.
How Secure Are Your Wheelie Bin Storage Sheds?
All of our Bin sheds feature strong timber construction, robust framing and sturdy doors with secure fixings. These design features help prevent tampering and keep your bins protected from the wind, pests and any unwanted access to your bins.
If you require enhanced security, such as lock fittings or fully enclosed side panels, we can discuss these as part of a bespoke order.
Can the Wheelie Bin Shed Be Placed Against a Wall or Fence?
Yes. The standard design allows the shed to sit close to a wall or boundary as long as the rear gutter overhang can still drain correctly. Leave a small gap for airflow and to protect the surface behind the shed. If you need a shed with altered drainage or a modified roof pitch, we can create this through a bespoke build.
Can the Wooden Wheelie Bin Shed Be Used for Other Outdoor Storage?
Many customers use their wheelie bin sheds to store garden tools, pet supplies or small outdoor equipment alongside their bins. As long as the internal space is suitable for the items you wish to store, the shed can work as a multi-purpose solution.
