- Secure Outdoor Storage
Our sheds are fortified with advanced security features. Externally, they utilize galvanised T-hinges with tamper-proof screws. Internally, a robust long-throw bolt lock with hardened steel and four keys secures the door. Double-door models have 100mm galvanised drop bolts for additional safety.
The sheds are covered with triple-layered timber cladding, shielded by a roof overhang to deter forced entry. Inside, a 32mm galvanised steel SecureBar allows for secure bike storage using locks or chains.

Our signature cladding with a charred and oiled finish. The charring of the wood offers extra protection as well as an amazing backdrop to planting.

We offer full installation if you’re based in the South East of England and surrounding areas. This is charged at £316.00 – for large volume orders, additional charges may be applied.

Self Assembly
We deliver for self-assembly everywhere within UK Mainland. Delivery is calculated at checkout, and it starts at £156.00.
Lead Time
We aim to deliver/install within 8 weeks from receipt of your order. This can extend to 12 weeks during higher demand periods.

Do I need a vegetable box shed?
The vegetable box shed is designed to keep your food safe, cool, and dry, with a secure lockable door preventing pests from getting in. It’s ideal if you need a secure place to store food deliveries when you’re out, as well as if you grow your own vegetables and need a place to store them after harvesting.
How big are our vegetable box sheds?
Our vegetable box sheds measure 0.65m Width, 0.81m Depth and 1.12m Height.
Be sure to double-check the size of your space before ordering to ensure the shed fits.
Does food stay fresh inside the shed?
These are built as the ultimate holding area for all of your food deliveries. If specified with a green roof and slatted cladding it cools the interior with excellent cross ventilation and insulating effect of the planted layer on top. These are great for when you’re out of the house and need a safe, reliable place to store food deliveries.

Our vegetable box sheds are designed to be highly secure. They include a small lockable door so delivery drivers can secure the box for later collection.
How does the visualiser tool work?
To visualise your vegetable box shed, click “Design Your Vegetable Box Shed Now” at the top of the page. This will open up our easy-to-use configuration tool where you can customise your dream bike shed; selecting the total bikes you need to store, depth and cladding options.
To make sure your shed fits your required space, simply click on the AR (augmented reality) tool, scan the QR code using your phone’s camera, follow the prompts and it’ll appear right in front of your eyes.
If you need a second opinion, whether your partner, family member or friend, simply click the share button and send a version of the final configuration to whoever you wish to see it.
Is the vegetable box shed easy to self-assemble?
They’re designed to be relatively easy to assemble yourself, especially if you have some experience with DIY projects. The shed comes with a full clear set of instructions, which we can send to you before deciding whether or not you want to install it yourself.
If you think you might struggle installing it yourself, we recommend our installation service which is available for certain locations across the southeast and can be selected at checkout if applicable.
What is the lead time on ordering our vegetable box sheds?
The current lead times are 8-10 weeks across our product range; this is because we build them ourselves in our workshop. Once you order, we’ll send a confirmation with an estimated delivery date, and/or installation slot.
Please note, that the lead time varies depending on the time of year; during periods of higher demand, it can extend to 12 weeks.
Do our vegetable box sheds come with a guarantee?
If you have an issue with your vegetable box shed, please email us photos, and we’ll arrange a suitable date to fix it.
If your product is Self-Assembled, the issue may be due to incorrect installation. In these cases, we will do our utmost to help you fix the issue by email or telephone.

Can I make a bespoke order?
If you require non-standard or bespoke sizes or finishes, use our bespoke enquiry form or email us at info@brightonbikesheds.co.uk with an image or two of the space. Please also include a description of your storage needs, dimensions (WxDxH), and your postcode. If you send a photo or a quick sketch of the layout, that really helps.
We’ll reply with a free detailed quotation. If you’re happy to proceed, just reply to confirm your order and we’ll send you an invoice for the agreed cost. Once we have received your payment, you will receive an installation date. Your shed will be built in our workshop and delivered and installed typically within 8 weeks.
