- Secure Outdoor Storage
Our sheds are fortified with advanced security features. Externally, they utilize galvanised T-hinges with tamper-proof screws. Internally, a robust long-throw bolt lock with hardened steel and four keys secures the door. Double-door models have 100mm galvanised drop bolts for additional safety.
The sheds are covered with triple-layered timber cladding, shielded by a roof overhang to deter forced entry. Inside, a 32mm galvanised steel SecureBar allows for secure bike storage using locks or chains.

Do I need an outdoor log store shed?
If you get through a lot of firewood and don’t want to store it inside, then our outdoor firewood storage sheds are perfect for you. These are built with slatted floors for optimal ventilation and secure double doors to ensure the firewood is well protected against the rain. They’re a compact standalone unit with the capacity to hold three layers of logs to be stacked.
What size are our outdoor log store sheds?
Our outdoor log storage sheds measure 1.12m Height, 0.81m Depth, and vary in width depending on the size you select.

How durable are our log store sheds?
Our outdoor log storage sheds are built to be incredibly durable, with a solidly constructed frame for storing weight and double doors fitted with heavy-duty galvanised T-hinges to keep out the weather.
How does the visualiser tool work?
To visualise your log store, click “Design Your Outdoor Log Store Now” at the top of the page. This will open up our easy-to-use configuration tool where you can customise your dream bike shed; selecting the total bikes you need to store, depth and cladding options.
To make sure your shed fits your required space, simply click on the AR (augmented reality) tool, scan the QR code using your phone’s camera, follow the prompts and it’ll appear right in front of your eyes.
If you need a second opinion, whether your partner, family member or friend, simply click the share button and send a version of the final configuration to whoever you wish to it see it.
Is the log store easy to self-assemble?
The log store is designed to be relatively simple to install, provided you have at least some DIY experience. The shed comes with a full set of clear self-assembly instructions, which we can send to you before deciding whether or not you want to assembly it yourself.
If you think you might struggle installing it yourself, we recommend our installation service which is available for certain locations across the southeast and can be selected at checkout if applicable.
What is the lead time on ordering our log store sheds?
The Classic bike shed is fairly straightforward to install, only requiring a basic understanding of carpentry/DIY, alongside an 18V battery drill.
The installation time depends on the amount of add-ons you have, however, a standard Classic bike shed will take 3-4 hours to fully assemble. This is because most of the shed is pre-assembled in our workshop.
Our bike sheds come with a full set of clear and simple self-assembly instructions. Please let us know if you would like a PDF version of the instructions sent to you before deciding whether to self-assemble.
If in any doubt, we recommend selecting our installation service, which is available for certain locations and offered at checkout if applicable.
What is the lead time on ordering a bike shed?
The current lead times are 8-10 weeks across our product range; this is because we build them ourselves in our workshop. Once you order, we’ll send a confirmation with an estimated delivery date, and/or installation slot.
Please note, that the lead time varies depending on the time of year; during periods of higher demand, it can extend to 12 weeks.
Do our outdoor log stores come with a guarantee?
If you have an issue with your log storage shed, please email us photos, and we’ll arrange a suitable date to fix it.If your product is Self-Assembled, the issue may be due to incorrect installation. In these cases, we will do our utmost to help you fix the issue by email or telephone.Please read our Terms & Conditions for full Guarantee terms.
Can I make a bespoke order?
If you require non-standard or bespoke sizes or finishes, use our bespoke enquiry form or email us at info@brightonbikesheds.co.uk with an image or two of the space. Please also include a description of your storage needs, dimensions (WxDxH), and your postcode. If you send a photo or a quick sketch of the layout, that really helps.
